The Jasper Parklet was a vibrant transitory space that welcomed and encouraged conversation. We decided to situate it in front of the General Hospital because, during our research, we found many hospital goers had nowhere to relax or sit in the sun. The bright colours were used to catch the eye and contrast the surrounding environment. The seating was designed to accommodate single and group users with a wide range of mobility. This was part of the Reimagine Jasper Avenue initiative.
